PURPOSE: A digital audio apparatus is provided to present a convenience upon being used with a computer. CONSTITUTION: The digital audio apparatus is equipped with an infra-red data association(irDA) module(15) communicating with a computer(20) which receives digital audio signals from the audio apparatus via the infra-red module, processes the received audio signals, and transmits the processed audio signals via the IrDA module to the audio apparatus. The digital audio apparatus further includes a flash memory(11) for storing audio signals, a microcontroller(12) for controlling overall operations of the audio apparatus, a code(13) for coding or decoding the audio signals provided from the microcontroller, and an interface(14) for performing the interface operation between the microcontroller(13) and the irDA module(15).
