PURPOSE: A circuit for controlling a pulse width modulation in a switching mode power supplier built in a television receiver or a monitor based on a normal/standby mode is provided. CONSTITUTION: A switching mode power supplier comprises: an input terminal commutating-leveling instrument(1000) supplying a first direct voltage/current(1010); a pulse width modulation controlling instrument(2000) supplying a standby detecting signal(2510) and a pulse width modulation controlling signal(2810); a switching instrument(3000) supplying a switching signal(3010); a voltage transforming instrument(4000) supplying a transformed voltage/current(4010A), (4010B); and an output terminal commutating-leveling instrument(5000).
