FREQUENCY HOPPED-ORTHOGONAL FREQUENCY DIVISION MULTIPLEXING METHOD AND APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A frequency hopped-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing method and apparatus use a frequency diversity technique to an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing method, and effectively improve a data transmission function. CONSTITUTION: A method divides a symbol period into a plurality of periods. At a transmission part, a parallel complex symbol generated by a serial/parallel conversion is alternately modulated by a plurality of sub-carriers far from a coherence band width in every divided period, performs a transmission function through a plurality of independent fading channel. At a receiving part, the demodulated value by the same sub-carriers as that of the transmission part are accumulated, an inference value of each parallel complex symbol is reproduced.
