PURPOSE: A composition comprised grain fermentation alcohol and green tea extract and/or deodorizer of organic acid is provided which has a good bactericidal, deodorizing and detergent effect. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises 40-80 weight% of grain fermentation alcohol, 0.001-1.0 weight% of green tea extract and/or deodorizer of organic acid. The green tea extract comprising 0.01-1 weight% of tannin or catechin is produced by extracting leaves of tea plant and camellia with water or ethyl alcohol. The organic acid is selected from lactic acid, tartaric acid, glacial acetic acid, and citric acid. For an example, 60 weight% of grain fermentation alcohol and 0.05 weight% of green tea extract are mixed with 39.5 weight% of purified water. It shows a sterilizing power similar to chlorine antiseptic about E. coli ATCC 10536, S. aureus ATCC 6538, P. aeruginosa ATCC 15522. And it shows a sterilizing power similar to chlorine antiseptic about E. coli ATCC 43895, S. typhi 19430, and V. percolans. It shows a deodorizing ability similar to chlorine antiseptic about ammonia, trimethylamine and methylmercaptan.
