DETECTOR FOR KEY INPUT ERROR AND DETECTING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A detector and a detecting method are provided to detect key input error when the initial power is fed. CONSTITUTION: A detector to detect an error of a key input signal of a system having CRT to display an image comprises: a key input piece(11) to input the key signal 'power on'; a level comparing piece(22) to sample the detected drive voltage into a certain level value and to compare the sampled value with a predetermined standard level value; and a microcomputer(13) to invalidate the 'power on' signal input after the first 'power on' signal is delivered if the detected level value is under the standard level value, and to validate the 'power on' signal input after the first 'power on' signal is delivered if the detected level value is over the standard level value.
