PURPOSE: A device for removing residual water from the cover of a water intake vacuum cleaner has a ball valve provided in a ball valve guide for removing the residual water in the cover of the vacuum cleaner, thereby exhausting the residual water sucked together with air during cleaning from the cover to a water tank and preventing entrance of water into a motor and an internal electrical circuitry in the vacuum cleaner. CONSTITUTION: The water intake vacuum cleaner having a water tank(40) comprises:a plurality of ball valve guides(60) having an upper hole formed therein for exhausting residual water from the lower part of the cover(20) of the water tank cover(40); and a plurality of ball valves(30) located in the ball valve guides(60) for removing the residual water remaining in the cover(20).
