ADDRESS GENERATOR USED IN DIGITAL FILTERING

PURPOSE: An address generator used in digital filtering is provided to reduce the complexity of the hardware and control of an address generator use to various filtering operation without the change of a ROM coding. CONSTITUTION: The address generator used in digital filtering comprises: an address storage unit(51) divided into plural unit section which its end directs the start of next unit section and outputting addresses of plural data; the first counting unit(43) outputting sequential addresses by counting the addresses; the second counting unit(44) receiving the number of the data required to the operation of a stage as control data and reducing and counting the value; an adding unit(55) adding prescribed value to the output value of the first counting unit; and a multiplexing unit(56) selecting the output of the adding unit or the first counting unit and outputting it to the address storage unit.
