<p>PURPOSE: A pipe diameter setting method according to balancing analysis about terminal flow rate and flow pressure for optimum design of pipe system is provided to solve unbalance problem of flow rate and pressure generated in respective terminal in designing of pipe system. CONSTITUTION: The pipe diameter setting method according to balancing analysis about terminal flow rate and flow pressure for optimum design of pipe system comprises: the first step inputting design information of pipe system, characteristic curve of selected pump, and flow rate and pressure required to respective terminal; the second step calculating the head of the selected pump on the base of the inputted information and calculating the flow rate of the respective pipe; the third step calculating friction loss of respective pipe, then calculating total friction loss; the forth step identifying the difference of the total friction loss; the fifth step selecting present selected pipe diameter if the difference is less than prescribed value; and the sixth step repeating the first-third steps.</p> |
