PURPOSE: A traveling robot for a robot cleaner is provided to previously prevent a traveling incompetence state of the traveling robot generated not by detecting a small obstruction. CONSTITUTION: The traveling robot for a robot cleaner comprises:a handy cleaner(200) to slightly insert and to joint in a traveling robot; a preventing device of a crash(400) to control a driving direction; an elastic matter(420) fixed in the upper and the lower part of a detecting switch of a crash(410); a round plate(430) of an elastic material to compress a switch(411) of the detecting switch of a crash(410).
