APPARATUS OF ELIMINATING MULTI-PATH USING DSP SYSTEM AND METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A car audio multipath eliminator using a digital signal processor (DSP) is provided to generate a noiseless audio signal. CONSTITUTION: The eliminator comprises a tuner indicating a signal intensity of a radio station to now be heard as a DC voltage; a multiplexor modulating a signal of a radio frequency into an audio signal; a microcomputer receiving the signal intensity thereof and, at one moment, providing a signal to operate a digital signal processor in excessive change of the DC voltage generated from the tuner for a constant time; a selector directly applying the audio signal to the digital signal processor or an amplifier according to a control signal of the microcomputer; the digital signal processor sampling an inputted analog signal through the selector to correct the analog signal by converting it into a sample signal, and then converting the sample signal into a digital signal; and the amplifier amplifying an audio signal inputted from the digital signal processor. It is therefore possible to eliminate a signal-off state and to hear a noiseless audio signal.
