PURPOSE: A simplified assumed gap head of device for magnetic reading and writing is provided to simplify the process of making and to improve the efficiency of head. CONSTITUTION: The assumed gap head include; closed type magnetic circuit having thermomagnetic effect, one side of the circuit electric coil is equipped, the other side of the circuit, the effective register region, is connected magnetic carrier; light emitter separated from the effective register region with designed distance to make the emitted and dispersed light reach the effective register region; light transmitter located at the light reaching point of magnetic circuit, controlling the light by selective switching to form local assumed gap; electric power source to supply driving power to the magnetic circuit, the light emitter and the light transmitter.
