PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a clay ball for water treatment is provided to obtain the improved purifying efficiency by smoothly flowing water when laminating clay balls in a purifying tub by making the clay balls almost spherical as well as equalizing the size of the clay balls and to improve the eliminating efficiency of sludge by the smooth flow of water. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method of a clay ball for water treatment has the steps of: mixing clay, water and silica at the ratio of 70-80%, 15-20% to 5-10% to improve the viscosity; molding a clay ball(105) with its shape spherical by passing the mixture through a couple of rollers(103) having plural hemispherical recessed grooves(104); and plasticizing the mixture in a calcining furnace at a temperature of about 900 to 1200°C for 5 to 10 minutes to prevent clay from turning soft when meeting water as well as to prevent the spherical clay ball from breaking by giving the intensity to the clay ball. |
