PURPOSE: A power save controlling method of an air conditioner is provided to reduce the power consumption by prevent the unnecessary operation of a blower fan by making the cooled air vent immediately by driving the blower fan. CONSTITUTION: A power save controlling method of an air conditioner comprises the steps of:accepting and judging (101) on the signal fed via an operation switch(30) and then performing the normal cooling operation of an air conditioner after a compressor(21), a cooling fan(22) and a blower fan(13) turned on according to the on-signals(102),(103),(104) by a control unit(50); judging(105) if the room temperature reaches the set up temperature by comparing and judging the detected temperature and the set up room temperature after accepting the detected temperature of the room temperature via a room temperature detection sensor(40) of the control unit(50); and suspending(106) of the cooling operation by turning off the compressor and the cooling fan via the control unit if the room temperature reaches the set up temperature, and judging if the predetermined temperature passes by the control unit.
