PURPOSE: A character data input method of a cash register is provided to improve user's convenience by preventing an input error. CONSTITUTION: The letter data input method of a cash register comprises the steps of: generating a bar code to appoint each letter or letter line; judging whether an order for programming letter data is input on a program mode; inputting the bar code if the order for programming the letter data is input.
