NOISE REJECTION CIRCUIT OF IMAGE RECEIVER

PURPOSE: A noise rejection circuit of image receiver is provided to selectively receive HDTV broadcast signal and NTSC mode broadcast signal and reject noise from a screen. CONSTITUTION: The noise rejection circuit comprises: a system controller(10) controlling the receiving state of the HDTV broadcast signal and NTSC mode broadcast signal; a clock generator(20); a buffer(30) outputting and cutoff clock signals from the clock generator in accordance with the control of the system controller; a MPEG2 image decoder(40) decoding the HDTV signals into the MPEG2 by working synchronously to the clock signals; a NTSC image decoder(50) decoding the NTSC signals and outputting and cutoff the decoded image signals by the control of the system controller; and a MPEG format converter(60) working synchronously to the clock signals, converting the formats of the HDTV signals and NTSC signals, and then outputting image signals.
