PURPOSE: Provided is a convolution code generator suitable for convolution coding simultaneously a plurality of bits configuring input data CONSTITUTION: The convolution code generator for generating (n, k, m) convolution codes in which n indicates a code word length, k indicates a message block length, and m indicates a memory block comprises: a temporary data storing means(11) for including a first group of cells corresponding to a word and second group of cells the number of that are (m-1), wherein the temporary data storing means is for temporary storing an input data of a word consisting of a plurality of bits as a word of a predetermined data width; and a plurality of exclusive logic operation means(13-18) which is selectively connected to the first and second group of cells and for generating the (n, k, m) convolution code generator about each input bit stored in the cells, wherein a partial data of prior word are stored at the second group of cells about the current word stored at the first group of cells.
