PURPOSE: A display apparatus having display for total use time is provided to display time between power-on and power-off by using OSD(on screen display). CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises detector for detecting power and providing it to counter, microcontroller for adding total use time by using internal counter, outputting the total use time by OSD signal and providing image control signal and reference oscillation signal, horizontal/vertical oscillator for receiving the image control signal and the reference oscillation signal, generating horizontal/vertical oscillation pulse for controlling switching speed, high voltage circuit for generating high voltage according to period of the horizontal/vertical oscillation pulse and proving the high voltage to the anode of CRT, and video circuit for receiving the image signal to amplify and providing OSD signal from the microcontroller to the CRT. Thereby, it is possible to be an aid repair of display apparatus by recognizing life lime of CRT and other parts.
