PURPOSE: A wire communication system is provided not to be able to contact the unnecessary telephone call in the mode of an automatic answering. CONSTITUTION: The answering machine for the wire telephone comprises: supplying power of a certain level to a signal transferring line for a certain time after the calling signal passed through the certain time from the generated point of time when a calling signal generated in an operating machine at the state of establishing a wire telephone in the mode of an automatic answering; outputting an answering message by operating an answering machine when the calling signal keep to the point of time of ending the power supply from the signal transferring line.
