PURPOSE: An automatic controlling of a refrigerator pump is provided to obtain the durability of the pump by controlling to stop the operation of the pump and to output a warning to a user when the water is exhausted, to enhance the satisfaction of use and to prevent the decline of the ice-manufacturing performance by supplying the water smoothly. CONSTITUTION: An automatic controlling of a refrigerator pump comprises the steps of:judging if the water supply operation occurs by a water running or ice-manufacture signal; judging if the water remains in a spring water container(13) after a pump(14) is operated according to the judge result; stopping the operation of the pump after a predetermined hour passes since a warning is produced if the water doesn't remain according to the judged result; performing the first step repeatedly; judging if the pressure of a first water supply pipe(L1) is same as the pressure of a second water supply pipe(L2) when the water remains according to the judged result; returning to the second step if the pressure of the two pipes are not the same according to the judged result; and returning to the first step and performing repeatedly after stopping the operation of the pump if the pressure of the two pipes are same.
