PURPOSE: A copy method of a audio compact disk is provided to prevent cutting a song in the middle of an end-side in a tape. CONSTITUTION: T0he method comprises the steps of: (1)inputting a auto copy mode for a compact disk:(2)searching a recording track had songs of a compact disk to store a play time:(3)selecting a fast forward mode of a tape and fast forwarded the tape in going and return:(4)determining the tape play time in proportion to a velocity of the fast forward mode:(5)setting the total play time of songs in compact disk to 0 and inputting a total number of song(N) in the compact disk:(6)setting the variable I to 1:(7)comparing and determining that the variable I is bigger than N or smaller then N:(8)when the variable I is more than N, generating an error signal and terminating a operation and the variable I is smaller than N, equating the total play time for songs in a compact disk to sum of initially set the play time of songs in compact disk and the I-th play time:(9)comparing and determining that the total play time for songs in a compact disk is bigger than the tape play time or smaller than the tape play time:(10)when the compact disk play time is smaller than the tape play time, returning step(8) and the compact disk play time is bigger than the tape play time, inputting a start process of tape recording:(11)recording from the first song to song of variable I-1th by the playing the compact disk:(12)holding the play compact disk after previous step was over:(12)reversing the back side of the tape in order to recording:(13)inputting the start process of recording in tape; and (13)recording from the first song to song of variable I-1th by the playing compact disk. Thus, it is possible to copy an audio compact disk without cutting a song in the middle of an end-side in a tape.
