PURPOSE: The push-pull unit is provided to couple economically a tube main body of the tuyere with a ring retainer fixed to a wall member of the blast furnace. CONSTITUTION: The push-pull unit(2) includes: a coupling unit(22) having a retractable main frame(221) and arranged on a machine base(21) to move longitudinally back and forth with a coupler(222) attached to the front of the frame(221) to extend into the ring retainer to couple with the tube main body(31) of the tuyere; an extension unit(23) mounted on the base(21) and connected to the coupling unit(22) to move it relative to the base; an impact unit(24) mounted on the coupling unit(22) to give an impact to the front or the rear end of the main frame(221) so as for the coupler(222) to push or pull the tube body(31) for attaching to or detaching from the retainer(32).
