PURPOSE: Method for manufacturing a barrier for a plasma display panel(PDP) determines a resolution of PDP, and prevents a cross talk between pixels. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a barrier for a PDP presses a dry film(2) on PDP substrate(4), forms the upper part of the dry film(2) as a similar barrier form(5), positions a mask(10) on upper part of projection(5-1) of the similar barrier form(5), etches the dry film(2) between the projections(5-1) of the similar barrier form(5) by illuminating a laser beam(7) by a laser oscillator(6), and excludes the dry film(2) by using air generated from air nozzle(11). Thereby, a production process is simplified, and a production cost is reduced.
