PURPOSE: The computer video mode controlling apparatus is provided to prevent liquid crystal display(LCD) from whiting the margin of display CONSTITUTION: The method of controlling the video mode of a computer comprises the steps of; confirming though video mode changed by a mode change control information is supported; turning LCD power off; changing the video mode and the font of a video controller to correspond to a mode change control information.
