PURPOSE: A camera system drive controlling method for low power drive is provided to reduce the power consumption by stopping the operation of the unnecessary circuit block in a record standby mode. CONSTITUTION: A drive controlling method comprises the steps of: judging if the camera system is a record mode or a record standby mode; keeping the present state in a record mode, enlarging the tracking range of the Auto Focus and the Auto Expose in a record standby mode, and cutting off the power except for a monitor; and performing the auto focus and the auto expose in the tracking range after cutting off the power.
