PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal is provided to increase convenience of an interface to check easily a short message that is received or sent on the mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: The mobile communication terminal available to a direct access of a short message comprises: a transmitting and receiving part(210) having a transmitting part that transmits a short message through the wireless interface of the mobile communication net and a receiving part that receives a short message; a user interface part(230) that manages a short message according to the command from the user; and a display indicating part(231) indicating that the short message is received through the transmitting and receiving part on the display screen.
