OPEN LOOP POWER CONTROLLING METHOD OF REVERSE LINK IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An open loop power controlling method of a reverse link in a mobile communication system is provided to improve the service quality by changing the transmitting power of the mobile station according to the circumstances of the wave and the loading amount of a base station. CONSTITUTION: The open loop power controlling method comprises the steps of: a mobile station storing the loading amount of the reverse link received from a base station(10) by the regular time; storing by measuring the pilot power strength of the serving base station and the neighboring base station; and calculating the indirect power ratio by using the pilot power strength and the thermal noise power of the mobile station.
