PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display unit is provided to improve an aperature ratio. CONSTITUTION: The liquid crystal display unit comprises a lower substrate, gate bus lines disposed to be parallel extended on the lower substrate, gate isolation layer overlapped on the lower substrate containing the gate bus line and data bus line formed on the gate isolation layer and disposed to overlap the gate bus lines to be parallel with the gate isolation layer.
