PURPOSE: An image identification signal adding/deleting device is provided to exactly insert the frame ID into the other zone except for an zone making the identification signals such as camera ID and so on inserted, and to output the frame ID, just eliminating the inserted frame ID when regenerating and outputting the frame ID. CONSTITUTION: The image identification signal adding/deleting device comprises: a camera ID position detector(210) for detecting the inserting position of a camera ID included in image signals inputted from a switching unit; a frame ID inserting device(220) for additionally outputting the inherent identification numbers of the relevant frame every frame of an image signal in an interval excepting the relevant position by basing on the detected inserting position; a recording and generating unit(230) for intermittently recording the image signals with the frame ID inserted and for generating the recorded image signals; and an ID detector(240) for detecting the inserting position of the camera ID inserted into the image signals generated from the recording and generating unit(230).
