PURPOSE: A monitoring system and method of illegal software use using a security system is provided to ferret out and cope with a user of illegal software. CONSTITUTION: The monitoring system comprises a storing mediator storing an illegal reproduction prohibition spy module of a software using the security system and a predetermined software; a plurality of personal computers; a network data module processing module receiving predetermined detection data from the personal computers using the storing mediator and determining whether the predetermined software is genuine or illegal reproduction one; and a control center receiving generating location information from the network data processing module, if the software is illegal one, and then coping with this.
