摘要

PURPOSE: A printer is provided to intercept electric power supply to a printing engine by deciding if the printing engine is out of order. CONSTITUTION: The printer comprises:a clock generator(71) generating the clock signal of a frequency; a first counter and a second counter generating an abnormal signal if a count value is reached the value of the stated time by inputting and counting the clock signal; and OR gate(75) outputting an output signal from the second counter to a switch control part.
