PURPOSE: A device for tracing a position of a mobile telephone is provided to grasp the precise position of the mobile telephone by registering a positional information of the corresponding mobile telephone after subdividing into a base station number and a sector number. CONSTITUTION: A system tracing a position of a mobile telephone comprises: plural visitor location registering instrument for temporarily storing the position on the mobile telephone periodically in a mother station; and a home location registering instrument subdividing and storing the inputted positional information of the mobile telephone by using a characteristic of an additional service for supporting a position informing additional service through a transferring network.
