PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record an image on an entire medium in a recording device capable of recording a color image on a photosensitive medium such as a Cycolor(R) medium pressure-developed after exposure. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a 1st feeder 23 on the upstream side of an exposure head 22, a 2nd feeder 25 between the head 22 and a pressure unit 24, and a 3rd feeder 26 on the downstream side of the unit 24; and the medium 1 is fed and exposed in a state where it is held by at least two feeders at the time of or in the midst of pressuring. Thus, the fluctuation of paper feeding speed is prevented even when the number of the feeders is varied at the time of or in the midst of pressuring, and irregularities in an image like stripes are prevented. Therefore, the high-quality image is recorded from the leading edge to the trailing edge of the medium 1.
