PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm device whose diaphragm can be accurately adjusted and also whose number of parts can be made to the minimum to realize the miniaturization. SOLUTION: Bias force in a specified direction is made to act on a pair of supporting bars 2 and 3 movably supported in the state that the mutual parallel is held by leaf springs 8 and 9, also the bars 2 and 3 are moved in the directions opposite to each other under the influence of the bias force of the springs 8 and 9 by the turning of a lever 13 freely turnably supported, a movable block 4 (5) on which diaphragm blades 6 and 7 are provided is moved by the moving through the one bar 2 (3) while the other bar 3 (2) guides the block 4 (5) at the same time so that the diaphragm blades 6 and 7 of the blocks 4 and 5 vary the aperture amount of a diaphragm.
