PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal cell end-sealing device capable of lessening the color irregularity of a liquid crystal cell which occurs at the time of the end-sealing of a liquid crystal injection port. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal cell end-sealing device 1 has a pressurized vessel 2 which houses the liquid crystal cell 6 and has an aperture 2a for exposing the periphery of the liquid crystal injection port of the liquid crystal cell 6 and a sealing member 3 which closes the aperture 2a in the state of holding the liquid crystal cell 6 so as across the aperture 6 and is installed to expose the periphery of the liquid crystal injection port of the liquid crystal cell 6 and holds the hermetic state in the pressurized vessel 2. This sealing member 3 is colored so as to prevent the transmission of the UV light used for curing the end-sealing material.
