PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device capable of setting a delay period obtaining the largest driving voltage margin independently of a driving duty ratio. SOLUTION: Since the length of a delay period T2 can be set regardlessly of one horizontal scanning period (1H) by adjusting the phase of the shift clock RCK of a shift register for setting a reset period and the shift clock SCK of a shift register for setting a selection period, the length of a delay period obtaining the largest driving voltage margin can be set even in the driving of a low duty ratio.
