PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a film camera by a digital camera by utilizing the light receiving part for remote control of the film camera. SOLUTION: This camera 10 is provided with a film camera unit 20 and a digital camera unit 60. In a normal mode, a 1st release button 36 and a 1st zoom lever 38 are manually operated to execute the photographing and the zooming of the unit 20. In a remote control mode, the button 36 and the lever 38 are manually operated to execute the photographing and the zooming of the unit 60. At such a time, an infrared light emitting diode 72 emits an infrared light beam to a receiving part 32 through a prism 74 so as to execute the photographing and the zooming of the unit 20 simultaneously with the unit 60.
