PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic liquid developer exerting no adverse influence on an environment, capable of restraining a change in chargeability with the lapse of time, capable of stably obtaining an image quality, the image concentration and a developing speed and excellent in preservability in an yellow electrophotographic liquid developer capable of coping with the formation of a full color image. SOLUTION: In an electrophotographic liquid developer by dispersing a toner in an electrically insulating carrier liquid, the electrophotographic liquid developer is constituted in such a way that the toner contains a compound classified into Color Index Pigment Yellow 180 or its derivative and/or at least one kind of compound selected from a group composed of compounds classified into Color Index Solvent Yellow 162 or its derivative as a coloring agent and the carrier liquid has an aniline point of 80 deg.C to 100 deg.C.
