METHOD AND DEVICE FOR TESTING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform aseismatic test of a large scale sample utilizing the size of a vibration table sufficiently. SOLUTION: A simulated structure 30 equipped with a frame 8, a shaker 7 and a reaction measuring unit 2 a is set on a foundation 6 where a vibration table 5 is set and only a structure 3 to be tested is mounted on the vibration table 5. Motion of the vibration table 5 being generated when the object 3 is shaken by means of the vibration table 5 and the shaker 7 is measured by a vibration table motion measuring unit 4 and reaction of the object 3 is measured by a reaction measuring unit. Motion of the simulated structure 3 after a set time is operated using these values and a numeric model stored in a digital computer 10 and then the shaker 7 and the vibration table 5 are driven to realize the operated motion.
