PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the leakage of the AC of a main power circuit with a leak detecting sensor that is the same as conventional cases in an electric vehicle. SOLUTION: This leak detecting device detects the leakage of the DC of a power converter circuit 4 in a main power circuit 5 with a leak detecting sensor 1. When detecting the leakage of the AC in the power converter circuit 4, upper side switching arms 4U-1, 4V-1, 4W-1 of each phase of the power converter circuit 4 are individually forded to be put into a conducting state one by one with a forced conducting means 21, so that the DC and AC sides of each phase are set temporarily to have the same potential. Then, a leak is detected with the leak detecting sensor 1, and its result is outputted as the result of the leak detection of the AC. This way, both leaks of the DC and AC of the power converter circuit, in the main power circuit are detected by utilizing the identical leak detecting sensor 1. |
