PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for an coaxial flat cable comprising the superior connecting workability and the low profile. SOLUTION: A connector 1 comprises the conductor plates 5 mounted on the both surfaces in the thickness direction of a coaxial flat cable of which an external conductor and a central conductor are respectively exposed by stripping an insulating coating, holding the coaxial flat cable 9 in a state that it is fully contacted with the external conductor, and earthing the external conductor, an insulating cover 4 mounted on one side in the thickness direction of the conductor plate 5, and an insulating housing 3 accommodating a plurality of contacts 2 contacted with the central conductor, and combined with the insulating cover 4 for holding the conductor plates 5 from the other side in the thickness direction with the insulating cover 4, and the insulating cover 4 is provided with an energizing means 10 for energizing the central conductor toward the contact 2.
