PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slip issuing device capable of automatically selecting a printer using a form suitable for printing of edited slip data and issuing a slip. SOLUTION: Information to discriminate the classifications of slip forms which are individually used in plural printers connected through a network are stored. When slip data is edited, the classification of the slip form where this slip data should be printed is discriminated (ST2). The printer using the discriminated slip form is selected based on stored information (ST3), and slip data is transmitted to this selected printer through the network to issue a slip.
