PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield box for performance test of a portable telephone set, which can easily accommodate the telephone set within an electromagnetically shielded chamber of the shield box at a predetermined position to thereby improve reproducibility in electrical performances (including a wave transmitting and receiving performance) of the telephone set. SOLUTION: A shield box 10 for performance test of a portable telephone set, which includes a box body 11 having an opening 12 and a lid member 16 for closing the opening 12, is used for testing electrical performances of a portable telephone set 40 placed in an electromagnetically shielded chamber 15 defined by the box body 11 and lid member 16. The chamber 15 is provided with positioning parts which act to locate the telephone set 40 at a predetermined position. The positioning parts are positioning pins 21, 22, 23 and 24 erected on a support base 20 of the chamber 15 and provided to be contacted with an upper end face of the telephone set 40 having an antenna 46 and with one side face of the telephone set. The positioning pin 24 is positioned nearly in the middle of a width of the upper end face having the antenna 46.
