PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire fitted with water cut-off parts, reliable in a water cut-off effect and easy in manufacture. SOLUTION: This wire fitted with water cut-off parts has a stranded wire conductor 1 and insulation coating 2, and the stranded wire conductor 1 is longitudinally continuous while the insulation coating 2 is longitudinally discontinuous by being cut into appropriate lengths. Water cut-off parts are formed by filling gaps among element wires 1s of the stranded wire conductor 1, gaps between peripheral surfaces of the stranded wire conductor 1 and the insulation coating 2, and gaps between cut surfaces of the insulation coating 2, with resin 3 for water cut-off. The resin 3 for water cut-off adheres to the cut surfaces of the insulation coating 2. |
