PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide network list verifying method and its device capable of reducing the capacity of a memory to be used and quickly executing processing at the time of comparing and collating the connection shapes of two network lists. SOLUTION: An element periphery collation part 24 allows networks having no object to be collated to coincide with each other out of 'networks to be connected to collated elements sent from a collation end judging part 23'. A network periphery collation part 25 allows elements having no object to be collated to coincide with each other out of 'elements to be connected to collated networks sent from the collation end judging part 23'. The newly coincident elements are registered in a newly coincident element storing part 32. Only the information of a start terminal and a boundary terminal is stored in a prereading range storing part 34 independently of the expansion of a prereading range.
