摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a tolerance of tracking accuracy by securing a sufficient reproducing signal strength and improving an information transfer rate in an optical disk device for recording or reproducing high density information by near field light. SOLUTION: An optical disk device has plural light emitting parts 7 (probe) which emit near field light to a recording surface 2a of an optical disk 2. These light emitting parts 7 are arranged in the radial direction R of the disk at approximately equal intervals, and have a round aperture 8 of a diameter smaller than the wavelength of the light from the light source, respectively. Plural recording marks 10 for recording or reproducing information by the near field light are formed on the recording surface 2a of the optical disk 2. These recording marks 10 are arranged in the circumferential direction T of the disk. Each recording mark 10 has a longer shape in the radial direction T of the disk than in the circumferential direction T of the disk corresponding to the plural optical emitting parts 7.
