PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain evaluation result superior in reproducibility by simply applying stress to a tested animal subjected to a dose for oral administration and then measuring the calcium concentration in a living body of the animal. SOLUTION: Stresses applied to a tested animal may be physical or metal stresses, such as forced walking or the like, and normally application of stress is started about up to about three hours after dosing immediately after a tested material is dosed. The in-vivo calcium concentration is measured as the calcium concentration in the body fluid or tisse of the animal. With reference to the in-vivo calcium concentration of a tested animal to which stress is not applied, when stress is applied without doses of a tested material, according to the proportion of restraining a rise in the in-vivo calcium concentration by doses of the tested material, the nourishment and robustoness effect of the tested material is evaluated. As in-vivo calcium concentration at stress application, maximum calcium concentration after starting the application of stress which is measured is used. |
