<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to fill up the gap between a cable or cable rack and the main body of a spread fire preventing sheet having flame resistance, fire resistance, or incombustibility and an insulating property with a heat- resistant sealant when a fire breaks out by firmly sticking the sealant to parallel two sides of the main body of the sheet. SOLUTION: Heat-resistant sealants 2 (having a thickness of 5 mm) wrapped in protective films 3 are arranged on one surface of the main body 1 (having a thickness of 0.7 mm) of a spread fire preventing sheet along two parallel sides of the main body 1. In addition, belt cut-outs 4 are arranged on the other surface of the main body 1 along the two parallel sides. Then the sealants 2 and belt cut-outs 4 are collectively sewn on the main body 1 with a sewing thread 5. The sealants 2 are prepared in such a way that 100 pts.wt. liquid chloroprene, >=50 pts.wt. expansible graphite, >=2 pts.wt. glass fibers, a vulcanizing agent, an age resister, etc., are mixed together and the mixture is molded to a specific dimension by means of a calendar roll, and then, the molded product is vulcanized for 18 hours at 50-70 deg.C.</p> |
