<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the output of optical parametric oscillation with a wavelength conversion laser device having an optical parametric oscillator(OPO) for generating a laser beam subjected to wavelength conversion by a nonlinear optical effect. SOLUTION: A pulse YAG laser oscillator 11 which has a function of a Q switch or gain switch and the optical parametric oscillator 12 having a nonlinear optical crystal 9 within the resonator via a condenser lens 10 on the output side of this pulse YAG laser oscillator 11 are arranged on an optical axis. In addition, the reflection surface of the output mirror 8 of the optical parametric oscillator 12 is arranged perpendicularly to a laser beam. The wavelength conversion device is so constituted that part of the light from the pulse YAG laser oscillator 11 returns to the pulse YAG laser oscillator 11.</p> |
