PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unnecessary fatigue of a developer and a photoreceptor, and to prevent a malfunction of a toner concentration sensor which controlling the prevention of fatigue. SOLUTION: In the continuous image formation for forming plural images, when an interval between respective image forming stages for forming a single image is longer than a prescribed value, a driving motor for driving a developer and a photoreceptor drum 131 is temporarily stopped between the respective image forming stages. The OFF timing of this driving motor is decided on the basis of a signal from a paper discharge sensor 260 for detecting discharge of recording paper from a device. When temporarily stopping the driving motor, detection of the toner concentration is stopped. |
