Tag with buried wire coil detectable by security equipment at shop door

The tag is made of two thin layers of plastics (4) adhered together and sandwiching a buried thin tracer coil (2) between them. The coil is capable of being detected by the barrier at the door of a department store. The tag is generally rectangular in shape with a triangular aperture (5) in one end to accommodate a wire loop (9) attaching the tag to e.g. the pull tab (10) of a sliding clasp fastener on an article of clothing. The coil occupies a rectangular region inside the tag, which has identification letters and numbers printed on its outside surfaces.
